What an unforgettable evening Thriving with ADHD 2024 was! The event was packed with energy, valuable insights, practical tips, prizes, music, laughter, and even a few tears.

Back as host was last year’s vibrant MC, Walter Neilands, whose captivating presence encouraged audience interaction and expertly guided the evening from start to finish, adapting seamlessly as the night unfolded.

This year’s panelists were equally remarkable. Hunter Wilson, also known as King Cass, a New Zealand hip-hop artist and passionate advocate for mental health and youth, shared his lived experience with ADHD. His powerful performance of two songs delivered a message of hope and inspiration for those facing mental health challenges.

Kei Serrano, a marketing professional diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood, offered a fresh perspective on how she’s embraced ADHD and transformed it into a strength in her career and life.

Brett Harrington, an ADHD coach from ADHD New Zealand, shared invaluable expertise and practical strategies for thriving with ADHD. She encouraged the audience with a message: “If you have ADHD, or think you might, right here, right now, you are awesome!”

Despite their diverse backgrounds, all three panelists shared a common journey of navigating ADHD in their unique ways. They left us with new insights, inspiration, and a powerful reminder to embrace self-worth, follow our passions, and believe that we can achieve anything we set our minds to.

It was fantastic connecting with our ADHD community and celebrating them, reminding them they’re incredible and never alone in their journey. We are so very thankful to our MC, our panellists, our volunteers and our Runway team for their contributions in making this night such a success!
